Liberty
“When governments fear the people, there is
liberty.
When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms
is,
as a last resort,
to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”
Thomas Jefferson
1743-1826
One of the founding fathers
of the United States
3rd president of the United States
If ye love wealth better than
liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating
contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your
arms.
Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon
you,
and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
Samuel Adams
1972-1803
One of the founding fathers of the United States
"The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth
defending
at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have
received them
as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with
toil and
danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care
and
diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present
generation, enlightened
as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a
struggle, or
to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men."
Samuel Adams
1972-1803
One of the founding fathers
of the United States
"Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do not."
Thomas Jefferson
1743-1826
One of the founding fathers
of the United States
3rd president of the United States
"Those who trade liberty for security have neither."
John Adams
1735-1826
One of the founding fathers
of the United States
2nd president of the United States
Free men do not ask permission to bear arms.
The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.
The Oath We Took
I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the
United States of
America, against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith
and allegiance
to the same, and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental
reservation or purpose
of evasion, pledging my life, my fortune, and my sacred honor. So help me, God.
Dum spiramus tuebimur
To defend liberty in its hour of danger is the
greatest call any American can ever answer.
And the depths of our gratitude can never be adequately tapped.
From rock and tempest, fire and foe,
Protect them wheresoe’er they go:
Thus ever let there rise to Thee,
Glad hymns of praise from land and sea.

White signifies purity and
innocence,
Red, hardiness, valor, blood
Blue, signifies vigilance, perseverance, justice
And I'm proud to be
an American, where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
Lee Greenwood
The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.
Thomas Jefferson
28th Amendment
Congress shall make no law that applies to the
citizens of the United States that does not apply
equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law
that applies to the
Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the
United States .
